This January, Punta del Este became a key hub for innovation. We participated in UMConnects, PuntaTech, PuntaBiotech, and other side events. It was motivating to contribute from our role to this growing ecosystem, especially to the biotech community.

Locbio participated in the Draper Founders Program, organized by Draper House Americas. This experience provided a space for growth through mentorship, inspiring stories, and continuous learning.

We attended the BIO International Convention 2025 in Boston, the world’s leading biotech event. It was a great opportunity to connect with industry leaders, explore potential collaborations, and showcase Locbio’s innovation on a global stage.

We participated in the Richi Entrepreneurs BIO Edition 2025, a two-week Boston immersion program designed to accelerate international biotech startups. It provided key insights into fundraising, venture capital, and negotiation in the U.S. biotech landscape.

It was an incredible opportunity to meet so many passionate people and connect with a global community that’s shaping the future of biotechnology. We also had the privilege of participating in the panel “How Latin America is Building Biotech Power-Hubs.”
